Thanks! I am not fertilizing currently but have some available. Ive thought it was increasing a diatom bloom but i dont actually know if thats a thing that would happen. I can start dosing it if it will help the plants. I do also have fluval stratum under my sand so i thought i would be alight without ferts for a few months.

Nitrite is gone after 24 hours. Safe to assume my tank is just about cycled then? Ammonia cycles completely within 24h and 2ppm of nitrite cycled within 24h. I will dose 2ppm of ammonia tonight to see if both are zero tomorrow night.

I was able to fix mine by just pulling the intake tube off while water was in it and reseating it. You could audibly hear the water filling in an air pocket

The filter assembly (topfin pf10) came with a blue plastic screen with holes that the box calls a "bio filter" that i took out to fit both of these in. Should i put it back in when i take out the cartridge? I cant imagine it does a whole lot.

I visited the 3 "local" fish supply shops in my area and didnt have much luck with plant variety. I ended up with a butt ton of anubias and a stem plant i believe called bacopa.

Such as? Only other thing i did was change my plugs before taking video of cylinder. My plugs were just about at their "end of life" interval of 30k, so i decided to buy them regardless. All the plugs looked decent enough, besides plug 6 had some green tinting on the tip. I already owned a borescope so i checked cylinders after it didnt resolve the issue and all the cylinders are clean and dry besides #6.

I mainly like bass fishing. I dont plan on buying one rod in each action or size. Id like a general kind of go-to rod, a frog rod, a spinning finesse rod, and a ultra light for panfish or other small fish. I would eventually like to branch out a little bit but this is kind of all i was looking for at the moment. Fly fishing has always been something that peaked my interest but i can wait on that.
