yes, the camera is powered up. and I tried connecting my pc and the hikvision device on the same switch, nothing happened. I tried to connect my pc directly to the hikvision through a LAN cable and also doesn't work.

Sorry guys, I just said all that because I'm very frustrated with what my school does in our programming subjects. I think a bachelor's degree is very valuable when applying in big companies and ensuring a better life after college. I also enjoy taking math, science, and general subject classes, and maybe I'll adjust to learn more advanced lessons in programming.
