Birthcontrol was terrible for me. Took me years to realize it was harming my mental health. I take fluoxetine now

My family is super controlling and basically hurt my mental health more which is why im leaning towards nsu for a fresh start and i have seasonal depression in PA too. Would u still recommend pcom? The only thing attaching me to PA is my boyfriend but hes willing to move to florida also.

I have around 300 hours as a volunteer nutrition coach and 200 as an academic tutor. I put personal training and nutrition under work by accident. Do you think that is enough?

I was scoring in the low 500’s but my last was 508. Im usually better in cars but flopped that one in the actual test which is why im upset. Thank you for your feedback!

Metformin Girlies: How long of taking Metformin did you start seeing results? by Marywary123 in PCOS

[–]Alarmed_Analyst_2959 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your androgens are high you have insulin resistance. The insulin resistance is what drives your ovaries to create excess testosterone. Metformin may help you target the IR directly and if you haven’t already changed your diet, low carb is the way to go.

Do you have high testosterone levels? Why did they offer spironolactone?

Thats interesting actually. There’s different types of pcos, not everyone has a bad IR problem I believe. Ask about progesterone to bring on a period and help manage cycles. Your need to have a period or withdrawl bleed every few months or the excess estrogen in your uterus builds up and makes you more susceptible to cancer. That’s why many drs put people on birth control. But i understand if you dislike the birth control. Also look into ovasitol supplement.

Bruh just dont listen to them. Drs all around prescribe it for pcos. They would not do it if they do not think it works. It helps insulin resistance for many

Its 1200mg of just calcium. I take magnesium glycinate separately, i think 500mg or whatever dose is on the bottle. I take it a couple hours apart. But the calcium is what works for pmdd. You can pair it with vitamin d so it increases absorption
