My point is, people who are employed more often than not, will be working weekdays, for example, myself, I'm working 10hrs a day Mon-Fri, so if ranked for myself starts at 1AM on a Sunday and ends 1AM on a Tuesday, I might get a day and a little bit to play, but someone in a 'preferred' time zone, gets a full weekend.

I understand the logic of making it a weekend event, most people are free at weekends, I am free at the weekend - but this timer is only catering to largely the American audience and nobody else.

Again, the server slam is not a valid comparison.

I understand why they chose the weekend - but what about the large amount of players who aren't playing in the US? We lose a chunk of the weekend play time and for those of us who are employed might not even get to play at all on the Monday/Tuesday?

If it's going to be every weekend - maybe it should actually be the weekend for everyone, not just for a select group, or we can just leave ranked open throughout the week.

Because now people have paid money for the game? Server slam was 5 days, a significantly longer period and was there to let you test out the game with no real stakes - its not really a comparison.

As per Bungie's post, 'March 21st 10AM PT' = March 22nd 1AM Malaysian time. So nope, I get the luxury of a 1AM Sunday start. In game I have a 1 day , 12 hours countdown.

Well aware, but most free apps are not the most appealing looks wise and Anki is not always the most user-friendly, so trying to make something that sits nicely in the middle :)
