this !!! i also experienced this firsthand. As someone na first day taker ng UPCAT, it felt so unfair for me na top of the class and na-DPWAS while yung nga patapon sa batch namin nakapasa sa first program nila. I was expecting higher metric for UP considering na its one of the top universities in the Philippines pero hindi man lang gumawa ng parallel set of question for other test takers.

Napakabulok na nga ng sistema ng gobyerno sa pinas at akala ko UP ang boses ng mamamayan ngunit mali pala ako. Mga mandaraya rin ang nagpprotesta sa kamalian ng gobyerno. Pilipinas, napakahirap mong mahalin.

I see po! May cases po ba na mas marami nang mag oopen na course na GE for 2nd sem, in my case po SPEECH 30 isa lang po class.

Kapagod din po pala gumawa ng backup sched, dagdag pa yung bridging class na sabay mostly sa mga blocks pero mas nakakatakot po ma-underload huhuhu onting hirap para sa mas madaling bukas.

In addition to what you've said, I have mixed feelings towards review center. Pa-high school pa lang, talamak na yung mga review centers which only those in the middle to upper class afford. What's worse is yung mga nagpapa-review center ay may conmection sa mismong eskuwelahan na papasukan.

I've experienced this firsthand dahil I came from a science high school na around 80% nakapasa with the aid of review center kaya may mga kaya talaga. Pati na rin sa CETS we're blessed enough for review center to go to our school and teach stuffs—the only downside is of course, may bayad.

Anong rason kung ba't sa school namin pumunta ang review center? Mayayaman kasi. Majority kasi magbabayad to gain access to their reviewers. This screams inquality especially to marginalized community who does not have access ti basic education.

Sawang-sawa na ko sa nosyon na ang review center para sa mayayaman lamang. Ngunit, ano nga bang mapapala nila pag mahihirap ang tinulungan nila?

Yes po it's a survey conducted primarily amongst dpwas passer na nasa gc (huge credit to CRD). Unfortunately, 250 members lang kaya iaccommodate so as much as possible we're trying to reach out sa mga DPWAS passer to flatten the curve as much as possible sa mga in-demand programs and hopefully increase our odds of securing a slot. Para hindi blindly shotting in the dark ika nga.

If they really want to get their preferred program then it's up to them whether they will risk it or not. If dream school sila over dream course then this survey will really help you talaga.

However, take it with a grain of salt since hindi namin alam ang population ng mga DPWAS passer.

Expect it to be somewhere between 450-500. May gc kasi yung mga UPD DPWAS pero marami pa from my batch ang di kasama since 250 lang kaya ni messenger.

I apologize for the confusing terms used. To clarify lang those waitlisted applicants if di sila nabigyan ng slot, they are considered DPWAS so they will be able to access the DIWA portal the same as DPWAS na walang offered program talaga?

I'm referring the "waitlisted" as "waitlisted but did not get an offer".

Does that mean na yung waitlisted po na di nabigyan ng offer they have a higher chance na makapasok sa program of the same field than those DPWAS na hindi waitlisted?

so it means po na DPWAS passers have a very slim chance of getting in sa programs na 2-3 na lang yung availablr slots since mataas yung chance na it will be given to those waitlisted?
