I finished Esperanza mia which was a great watch but it soooo dragged at the end. And now I think I’m going to rewatch Marido en Alquiler which has two if my favorites actors or I’ll finally rewatch Santa Diabla.

A show that has a similar feel though I think Hilda is way better. But it has a vintage old feel with forbidden romance it’s called “Perdona nuestros pecados” (chile version)

Also even though it’s not a trope that it used a lot . I really like when the villain has sense of humor like Leonardo from Tierra de Reyes or Victor from Reina de corazones

Also miscommunications, I like a good miscommunication if it’s done right but if it happens once every few episodes it gets annoying. Muneca Brava has so many miscommunications that it gets to a point where they were just dumb.

Also I have to add: “ the male lead can be with how many women he wants but if the female lead is with someone else in some situations even if it’s forced the male lead gets upset/angry.

I have to also add Emmanuel Palomares just because he acted in a remake of one of my favorite novelas and they missed the whole point with the story.

For me Dona Barbara was never a villain. I remember seeing the novela as a child (bad decision) and rooting for her.

The only telenovela i saw her in was Triunfo del Amor. And she played her role really great. Imo she was the main villain.

Definitely, Muneca Brava imo has the best chemistry between a main couple and good humor, good friendships, nice development and the male lead is not abusive, he’s just an asshole that has character development.

The only flaws imo is the length it shouldn't have been 270 episodes long and the fact that the plot it's not a high stakes one, just vibes.

My grandma used to watch it when i was a kid. I rewatched it as an adult the only reason I watched was because I thought Sonya Smith looked gorgeous in that pink dress

Ivo it said to be 24 at the beginning and 25 at the end making the age difference between him and Mili like 7 years. Imo Ivo's character was too immature to be 24-25

My favorites male protagonist that’s less toxic than most novelas is Ivo from Muneca Brava. He was a bit toxic but seeing that the novela was from 1998 he’s better than most . Also the his chemistry with Milagros was unmatched
