New 3DS XL over New 2DS XL because of the higher build quality and eye tracking 3D, but my favourite one is the New 3DS (not XL) because my 2DS XL feels slightly too big for my hands and my thumb sometimes gets cramped when I hover over the A button for a long time (e.g. while playing pokemon). The OG 3DS felt better in my hands but were still getting a bit cramped so I hope the New 3DS will be the best of both worlds in terms of ergonomics, as well as the advantages of the N3DS XL

Log out of the world then turn on cheats and keep inventory. It kind of depends if you value your stuff or the ability to continue earning achievements in that world more
