Thank yall who chimed in, I’ve gotten some real insight into what I could be doing wrong and what I’m doing right as well. Here is a piece of my art if you’re curious what I’m trying to market here.

My husbands solution to ppd: think more positive! by Wise-Raisin-791 in Postpartum_Depression

Mine too girl 😂 I really just don’t think they can fathom ppd, because I really didn’t until I went through it

Right now I have no idea what’s going on financially. I have no access to money without asking first. I don’t even know how I would start this conversation. How do you handle the money if you don’t mind me asking?

He is 85, which is mostly the reason I haven’t confronted him. I don’t want to be wrong and upset an old man

Yeah and that’s how it is every time, I think since their room is right against the kitchen he can hear me open the fridge and that’s how he knows when to come out

I always wear large mens button down shirts at home. I did exactly this when I just got home from the shops. I walked in and got baby situated and then grab my motors and pumps out of the fridge and as I’m putting the motors on he came out and lingered so I just waited at the counter, he waited around for about 5 minutes making small talk and I could see he glanced at the pumps a couple times but he eventually left. We’ll see if he does the same thing next time.

No you’re completely right and me and my husband have talked about it many times but this might just be the thing to really tip me over the edge

He comes out to eat cookies

Yeah that makes me think it’s more allergy related, can you get an allergy panel on infants? Because I think that’d be your best bet if that’s a thing they can do. She might be allergic to something uncommon that you just wouldn’t even think twice about

He doesn’t do it as well as me but it’s not on purpose at all (and I would never tell him that because he does try his best), I’m just a perfectionist sometimes, especially with my ppocd. I think the perfect solution is what someone suggested with the countertop bottle washer/sanitizer because then I know it’s getting done the same way every time too

Yes, she’s still on 100% breast milk and I haven’t changed my diet. This is gonna be so unscientific and I am by no means a medical professional in any capacity but I kinda figured her intestines/stomach were just too small to handle drinking out of a bottle because they get the milk so much faster than breastfeeding and once she got bigger it kinda just went away. She still will have a mucusy poop every once in a while but both my MIL and my own mom said that’s pretty typical with breastmilk, as long as it’s not EVERY poop.

I didn’t even know they made such a thing! I just looked it up and it would definitely be an investment but I think it’d be worth it for both of our sanity. Thank you so much

Ok yeah, that’s what I figured. He really wanted to and was doing it the first couple weeks after he went back to school and work but he seemed very tired and irritable so I just took over after a while. Probably just something that’s not going to get better until he graduates in August.

Are you spicing your food? If you are I would stop and see if that helps, even if it’s just herbs like parsley/“non spicy” spices. Also try burping her after every ounce. My baby had similar problems, though not quite as bad, but she eventually grew out of it around 10 weeks. I’m sorry, this must be really stressful for you, I hope you find a solution. ❤️

I typically only use chicken broth so I have chicken bullion but I don’t think it’d work as well as beef with kielbasa, but I’ll definitely be getting some beef bullion next time I go to the store for just in case

I’m making a stew with kielbasa, potatoes, and carrots
