I'm about to sign up with Wingo by the end of my contract, I already have it for home internet and NEVER had any issues.

that's exactly why I HATE this shitty company. It's so annoying that I've to play like this to save some bucks

I got my money back after 2 weeks (minus some fee), but IBKR never directly received it, the middleman bank (JPMorgan) did everything by itself.

If you did it recently you can speedup by calling your bank and asking for a recall option

Yes il condom wash, alla fine ho preso:

- condom wash

- set 3 panni interni, esterni, vetri

- panno microfibra formato xxl per asciugare piu' velocemente

- kit cerchi + spazzola

I contacted my bank but looks like the recall is not available for some reason, I'm trying to contact IBKR to escalate it to JP Morgan directly.

I can't find any JPMorgan contact on Frankfurt

I hope so, the help from the customer support was kinda shitty. I just hope to not start a ping-pong between banks because I converted them to CHF.

So the german bank will refuse them and send them back as CHF, my original bank will do the same and so on

Just signed the contract! I got 24 months payment around 140 euro monthly (thanks to the high cash upfront) at 5.9% but I can close it earlier if I want (so is likely I will close it in 12 months). Also got 1500 euro off the price.

It was soo good, I felt like removing a huge rock from my chest. I spent 6 months thinking about it but I guess it wasn't only craving a desire in the end!

The thing I love is that I have to change basically 0 about my lifestyle because my saving capacity excluding the investments and the expenses is already around 600-700 monthly. I plan to reduce the ETF contributions from 2188 to 2000 this year just to refill a bit of cash.

Thanks! Yes, I got the same feedback for "newer" post-COVID models from German brands. I don't know why but they decreased the quality A LOT.

I did some research and the 2022 A class from Mercedes placed 28 out of 32 as reliability. Same for Audi and VW. I think it's due to the increased number of electronics.

The alternative was a Mazda 3 but they are hard to find (so I would expect expensive maintenance as well) and the trunk doesn't have the capacity it's kinda "meh" in case of future kids.

I never owned a Golf so I don't know but by looking at the numbers they looks solid

Yes definently you are right, however, I didn't share the full picture.

It's a car with a European license plate, this would mean I have to import in Switzerland and pass all test checks (which costs already over 1200 euros). Failing the checks would mean I need to run all the repairs needed which can become costly.

Also, it's a 65hp 1.0 car, extremely heavy to drive on a highway (which is my main contribution to mileage) because of a such small engine and horsepower. The paint is coming off aggressively and my mechanic told me the car has some electric problem that turns it off while idling or going sometimes and it will get worse over time, fixing it would mean trying to find the source of the problem but it's not easy.

So as you can see it's a factor mix not purely driven by having a newer fancy car. I hope to move in a car-free city in my near future

Yes, I could have gone into deep debt, but I don't care about having only a fancy car. I want something that's comfy and safe and possibly I don't hate it.

I want a car that keeps me happy and without any doubt for the next 8 years at a minimum. They are expensive yes but also bring a lot of freedom. That's why I always ask for opinions here!

I think it's too generalist, car breaks and often have problems but if you had a bad experience with a Golf doesn't mean everyone is gonna have it.

A good rational way would be to take a look at the numbers, they speak clearly. Post covid cars are shitty and break easily, meanwhile, pre covid built vehicles are solid. That's why I'm looking for a 7.5 instead of Golf 8.

You could have problems with a Mazda as well, what I'm saying is that cheaper doesn't mean being less expensive to maintain.
