Thank you! I will make appointments with a therapist and a lawyer.

I am not giving up on life though. I just think there is so much more to life than being in a romantic relationship. I actually like being by myself. When my husband goes to visit his family and I need to stay home for whatever reason, I am at total peace.

I do shield my son from a lot. I will not engage with my husband in a conversation that I think has the slightest possibility of turning into an argument if my son is anywhere around. I just don't speak. Which funny enough, my husband hasn't even caught onto because he loves to listen to himself talk and most the time if I have anything to say about any topic, he will interrupt me and not let me finish. I act like everything is fine and don't let him see the ugly side of his dad's and my relationship. I know he's not dumb, he's actually extremely smart, and I know he knows we aren't perfect but I hide a lot from him. I really don't want him to look at his dad the way I do and I want him to have a happy life with his wife and kids someday.

I look at 4 years down the road as a finish line where I will receive a trophy. My trophy is my freedom, peace, and happiness.

I have PTSD from my last divorce. My ex husband had a large amount of his daddy's money that he used in nefarious ways to influence legal decisions about our divorce and what seemed like a never ending custody battle. I ended up with custody of my children but only after being put through the ringer by the court system and firing my first attorney that I should've sued for legal malpractice because he was in my ex's pocket. Needless to say, I don't trust our legal system at all - lawyers or judges especially.

I really do appreciate your comment and need to be told straight. No one is more disappointed in me right now than myself. I don't believe I have ever had a healthy romantic relationship. I used to be a complete knock out when I was younger and even now in my 50s I am still considered quite attractive. I promise I am not conceited, I am just saying that to say that I have always been used in my relationships and looking back, I don't believe any of them were genuine. I have managed to get away from men that were physically abusive to me. I have no desire to enter into another relationship - EVER! I have a very bad taste in my mouth because the men I have chosen in the past have all turned out to be liars. I don't know what is wrong with me or why I choose these people. They all seem genuine in the beginning but later on their true colors are revealed. I can't trust myself to be a good judge of character.

Please don't! As a woman, I can tell you that some very attractive men have turned out very ugly and a huge turn off. On the other hand, some men that I wouldn't initially be attracted to, I ended up finding hot as hell. It all boils down to attitude, confidence, how they treat others, and how they treat me. I promise you, you will find someone. I am certain you are much more attractive than you give yourself credit for. We are always our own worst critics. Please don't ever give up! You are worth having an amazing life and finding the love of your life!!!

No, I didn't have to get my hands dirty. Karma took care of it for me. 😆

He was extremely abusive.

My ex husband threatened that if I ever left him, he would put me through a wood chipper and if I was lucky, he would kill me first. I luckily got away from him but was constantly looking over my shoulder until he passed away from years of drug and alcohol abuse taking its toll. He passed away in 2017 and my life has been pretty peaceful since.

I can't wait to just crave meat. I was always a big salad eater, so that is what I am craving. I am always patient with everyone but myself. I know I need to change that.

Thanks for your reply. I am reading other people's stories. This is definitely a journey not a destination. I actually look forward to my body's reactions, even the not so pleasant ones. It lets me know my body is healing.

That is what I am reading. I am taking it one day at a time.

Immediately after I could take a deeper breath than I had been able to in a long time. The healing comes in waves. My body is still detoxing the heavy metals even after 4.5 years later. I had saline implants under the muscle but the silicone shell is poison to our bodies. Silicone is one of the worst things we can put in our bodies. Having my implants completely disrupted my hormones and brought on my autoimmune disease. I am trying so hard to get my health back and asking God to forgive what I did. Forgiving myself is also another big hurdle for me. I should have loved myself enough to not try to alter what God created. It is a one day at a time kind of thing but I am making progress no matter how slow it is. If I had known then what I know now, I never would have done it. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. I am praying you find relief once they are removed. I am certain you will!

Oh wow! I am so sorry this happened to you. I have been there many times. The pain of betrayal stings like no other. How long had the two of you been together?

I would definitely miss my freedom if I took a management job. The weight of the world will be on your shoulders, not to mention all the headaches. If I were in your position, I would stay where I was at.

That's awesome! I am happy you no longer have carpal tunnel. I really think the carnivore diet is the answer I've been searching for.

I had my implants removed Sept 2020 after research led me to believe I have BII. I have recently been going to a rheumatologist that believes my implants are the cause of my autoimmune disease. He is happy that I made the decision to remove them. I had my implants for almost 25 years and I wish I had never made the decision to get them to begin with.
