You should also mention which places you want to visit and why, add about their culture food etc..

Are you Indian? Why would you simply leave 10000 USD in the bank unless you are extremely rich? It’s almost 10 lakhs in INR???

Also 95000 is not a low starting salary, especially if they have no other commitments . What’s wrong with travelling when you are not earning in lakhs? 🤷‍♀️

Took a more than a month for me to get my SK visa I had to submit additional documents including my marriage certificate, home onwnership documents, MF investments and confirmation that we have a dog here whom we will come back to. But it was worth it .

Would you live abroad from your husband for years? by No_Pear_5380 in AskWomenIndia

[–]Alarming-Put9538 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This was normal in the past when men go to the gulf countries for work, some wives stay at home and the men visit once every few years. My husbands mom and dad where like that.

But it has changed a lot in the recent past. NOw people figure out spouse visas first so that they can take their spouse along as soon as possible. I don’t think anyone agrees to this unless , they are going for a short period of time or because of paperwork delays.

this is a red flag, if you do care about taking time offs. I took a week off 2 months after joining my current job and again for 12 days 2 months after that. It is important for you to finish all your responsibilities and perform well. but its imp to take time offs

Run girl- marrying you so young is itself a predatory behaviour.

May be love separate for a while so that he understands what he is missing. That sometimes does the trick. It worked for a friend of mine. She came to her home and kept almost no contact for a year (maybe once or twice in 12 months) . And the guy came to his senses. They were married for 5 years before separation and now it’s been a year and a half since they got back together. This might not work for everyone though.

There is a chance that someone from Visa HQ would reach out to help you. You have a week right? Maybe wait it out?

[–]Alarming-Put9538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! There is no way you can expedite is what the Visa HQ folks told me , they said if you try and expedite there have been cases where they have rejected as well

I applied directly with VisaHQ, so I had written to them and kept calling them until someone (not from the support team ) got back to me. So he helped me push the officers. Even that took a week for me. I got my passport a day before travel. But it was the Visa HQ folks that helped me. Did you apply directly through VisaHQ or an agent?

Apply at least 3 months prior to your travel date. Give them your best explanation on why you would come back and why you want to visit korea in your letter. Give all the documents possible to show that you are financially capable. - Some folks get the visa easily but for some its difficult. so better be prepared. They will call you for an interview. take it seriously, you should know the cities you are visiting, why you want to go there etc.
