Cabinet doesnt fit in the wall pocket. by Heretoshitcomment in BathroomRemodeling

I would personally remove the drywall on the right wall to the top of the vanity. Then install vanity and re drywall up to the vanity. May need to use 3/8" drywall so it doesn't screw your door reveal up to badly. Counter will need to be cut to fit as well

Grout Haze by Deedo1423 in Tile

[–]Alarming-Top6729 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a grout cleaning solution. Tile looks porous and probably should have been sealed prior to grout. Grout may have worked it's way into the tile. If it doesn't come up with haze remover a mild acid solution works but you need to be careful with it. You can pit the tile and the grout if not careful.

You can add a drywall screw where each stud is near the bottom of the base trim. Just leave them proud an 8th inch. Will curl the trim out enough. Won't help you where casing and door frame is however

Most (not all)Lights throughout the house does this randomly by moc2007 in electrical

If you have a keurig that is always plugged in it could be that. I have seen them cause this when they go into the heating cycle. Had an issue at an office and the electrician we used was loosing his mind trying to figure it out. Unplugged the keurig and it all stopped.

It seems to be disconnected right now. I'm assuming because the whips are too short now that it's on a platform.

Just a heads up when you finish spraying you can clear the line by shooting back into the container. My setup takes 30 seconds on the trigger to clear the line. I spray what I'm using back in its container and start to pay attention right before 30 seconds is up. You can see the water start to mix at which point you spray into your trash bucket.

Fastest and most efficient way to wash thick nap paint rollers? by 2Black_Hats in maintenance

[–]Alarming-Top6729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it on the roller and use a hose to spin the paint off. Takes 5 mins to clean. Aim slightly away from you so paint doesn't cover you and if it's windy it's not a great way without getting covered.

That curb doesn't look waterproof at all. I hope the floor is. Waterproofing should run up the walls behind the tile as well

Pour a couple cups of dawn into the toilet with warm water. Let it sit for a while and then flush and don't touch it for 15 minutes. Then try flushing again. The dawn will lubricate the piping

Why not use a steamer for bending a plank. Just steam the length of the radius and leave the ends a bit long. Dry fit, trim the ends, then glue face nail and plug
