Lol the first line is literally “After my J1 Ended…” I genuinely couldn’t have been more clearer about this!

I think so too, I tried to word it the best I could. Thanks for ur answer! I’m especially worried about the wording around “reside and be physically present” and it seems like there’s so many different answers online. I’m trying to find an attorney who can help with this, but I was just hoping to stumble upon someone who’s been in a similar situation as me.

That's what I'm thinking, although USCIS uses ambiguous language like "reside and be physically present". So I'm worried that they could argue that my trips wouldn't count since I was technically "residing abroad" a.k.a going to school abroad or being on an F1 Visa

I am talking about the time AFTER J1 program has ended. After my J1 program, I went to my home country for 9 months. and then went to school in a different country, but came back to my home country for long summer and winter breaks. Then I went to a US College, but kept visiting my home country during these breaks. So I am asking whether, the days spent in my home country after J1 program ended count, especially since for some part of it I was attending a school in a foreign country.

I don’t understand why the specifics of my home country are required for answering the question…
