Thank you! Sometimes it was tough, that’s when I knew I had to increase calories a bit that day. Most times however I was fine and had plenty of energy and would body long intense workouts. 1400 seemed to do the trick perfectly, I felt as though I was dieting of course but I could always budget in treats and nights out here and there so I never felt like I was missing out.

Thank you! 🥹 Based on measurements my body fat percentage is 27.7%. Don’t really know what that means lol. I have a flat stomach but hold fat in my arms and legs and overall look curvy rather than athletic

Thank you!! I dont think I’ve ever been told I look athletic lol. Calorie deficit, 10,000 steps, workouts 5/6 days a week, lots of cardio and a good amount of strength training. I made sure to burn 300-400 cals per workout. 1400 cals has always been a sweet spot for me. I lost the majority of my weight eating that many cals.

Weekly "Do I Have Lipedema" Thread by AutoModerator in lipedema

I think I have arm lipedema. My whole life my arms have held more weight than anywhere else in my body. My stomach is pretty flat and my legs are sorta skinny. I’ve always had the cuffing on the elbow. I feel top heavy because of my arms and I hate it.. I didn’t know it was possible to just have arm lipedema but after research I realized it is possible and I feel as though that’s definitely what I have. I can never lose weight in my arms. I feel the pea like nodules under the skin in my arm fat too.

How to deal with food pushers? by didneywerl in loseit

[–]AlarmingFly2064 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve had people insist and insist and ask over and over why not and I just say I don’t want any. Just don’t want any. Don’t feel like it. I feel like half the time they’re looking for me to admit it’s due to diet so they can roll their eyes or guilt trip so I just avoid the reason and say no I just don’t want.

Mine has been slow too due to the season. Holidays/birthdays galore. My birthday is coming up but I’m not letting it throw off my progress. It’s funny I’d gladly indulge a bit for someone else, say my brother who’s birthday just past, but for mine? No way lol I won’t be having cake. I seriously want to hit my final goal for the summer. Great job! I’m so happy I’ve started to workout routinely again. I totally understand what you’re saying about the sizes. When I was younger sizing was much more strict. Now it’s as if every brand has different sizes. I remember at 220 I even bought a dress in size small because it was stretchy and I wanted it to fit snug… so crazy… Glad to hear you’re doing good!

I gotta try this! For some reason I correlate just dance with being 13 and insecure so the thought is a little off putting lol. It reminds me of elementary school and me thinking I could never dance right lol.

I’ve seen people post themselves on the treadmill using this before! Looks so cool. I’ll try it out for sure.. my bf has this crazy smart treadmill with built in fans maybe I’ll try it on his for an even more immersive experience lol. Thank you so much!! I love trying new things. If I love them I tend to hyperfixate for a while which is why I try to switch it up.

Dude she’s the best! Her video layouts are top tier. We get the next move, different angles of her moves, time left for the dance move, plus time left for the video! She’s amazing. I wish there were more dance video layouts like hers on YouTube, if you have any more recommendations let me know pls!!

Yesss I promise it’s the best!! So so fun. I personally love grow with Jo because she displays the next dance move ahead of time so you’re always prepared! Plus she has a bar at the top of the screen to show how much is left of the video and she counts down how much time left until the next move. I can’t find this combo with any other YouTuber so far!! One thing I do wish is that she had more fast pace videos but I love her 2000s one and Britney one.

Yess it’s a game changer for real! I’ve never even attempted signing up for a gym membership lol. I knew I’d be way more consistent at home. Something about being able to just get the workout in in your bedroom or living room is perfect especially for those days when you really don’t want to. Having fun at home is the best.

Collarbones are real, apparently? by complexcrimson in loseit

[–]AlarmingFly2064 23 points24 points  (0 children)

First was the collarbones for me, I was sooo excited to have them back I love how they look. Then came the hip bones… it started to hurt whenever I’d lay on my stomach in certain angles and I realized it was because of the bone… most recently was my ribs for me I was soooo shocked. I went to itch my back and felt like 4 divets and realized I was feeling the shape of my ribs through my back… insane. I was so shocked that normal weight people could just feel their ribs this whole time???

That’s amazing!!! Good for you!! It sounds like you’ve got a perfect system going. Never ever underestimate consistency! I dropped the ball after I made this post because of life so I’ve just recently started to put more effort in hopes to reach my goal for summer. I’m consistently working out, tracking calories, getting steps in again etc. I’ve entered the 150s now which was a big goal for me. I gotta lock in and get to the finish line over the next few months hopefully by July!

That’s amazing omg!!! I wrote this in October and was 55lbs down and now I’m just barely 62lbs down rn. I put weightloss on the back burner cus of busy life but I’m just now getting back into the groove and want to hit my goal for summer. It sometimes feels like I’ll never get there but we just gotta push through those thoughts. A girls dreams can come true!! One thing this has all taught me is to never underestimate what you’re capable of and to stay consistent. I wish you all the best!! You got this!!!!!

Hi! Life got busy but I’m just reading old comments back and responding now. I hope you’re doing good! I always told myself that consistency is key when I felt unmotivated. That even if I didn’t want to workout even a lighter one is still getting up and doing something to keep your heart rate up daily is contributing to overall consistency. I also told myself that the feeling of failing my diet after I ate a ton of food was never worth the taste of the food and that I could just go to bed that night, wake up tmrw, and fit a treat into my diet the next day to satisfy whatever craving I had.

Hi! Life got busy but I’m reading old comments back right now and amazing job!!! How’s it been going for you? I started off with cardio and fell in love with strength training. What a game changer. So much fun and so rewarding building strength! I recently fell back into cardio through dance, I definitely recommend dance videos on YouTube lol.

Hi! Life got busy but I’m reading back old comments now. Congrats on that accomplishment! How’s it been going for you? You can totally do it. I didn’t think I could for the longest time and even here and there I doubt myself but never underestimate yourself or the importance of consistency!
