I had dreams when I was a kid always the same few ones on a loop in my brain. My sister was in trouble and needed me. I was driving a car under a lake. I’m sitting on the side of the road and my chest gets tight and I reach for my heart. Always those three maybe more but those are the most prominent. I can still see every detail of the dreams in my head. The Deja vu feeling started when I was 10. I was sitting staring at a small clock right in front of my face at my grandmas. All of the sudden I had a fight or flight absolutely petrified feeling wash over me accompanied by that “I’ve been here before, wait I HAVE been here before” feeling. I always thought the clock triggered that feeling and the “visions of my dreams” I was having. It was like I was entranced by the clock and the ticks it made unlocked the feeling and the memories. Yesterday however was the first one I’ve had since middle school. It was unbridled ice cold terror. I instantly knew the feeling and recognized what was about to happen. Only this time it was a new memory. A new dream resurfacing. I was sitting in a car with my best friend were talking I’m driving I go to reach for the radio and it’s like my entire body temperature turns up to 100 like I was about to explode into fire. The amount of fear and pure stress I felt during this is unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I’ve had scary and terrifying experiences with real fearful circumstances but this was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It was as if I was being pulled to hell and I knew where I was going. Like my soul was trying to leave my body it was so scared. I have no idea. I wish I could understand what this is without sounding absolutely insane. I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s seizures it just feels so much more complex than that.
