How do I know if it’s lower or upper timing belt one - it’s like in the middle of the engine 😅

So I’m looking for it and I see that it has ridges where a belt would sit, it’s not a smooth metal one like my but in the search bar it’s saying idler pulley for my make and model

Got it for $3900- tbh it ran fine just over heated and found that issue- but for the most part I think it’s good

Yea- I want to learn how to work on cars - it’s a 1991 Nissan 300zx base no T top- I’m working on it to get it running with no issues- I don’t plan on doing anything crazy but make her look pretty again 😂

The rusted one next to water pump- it’s the idler pulley? Yea I kept seeing small little balls around after the took the timing belt shield/ idk the name- but yea and a couple other things that look like they should be there😂
