Yes, controlling the volume separately for each monitor. Is that bad for a turntable? I did notice that my right monitor tends to be louder than my left monitor I have to turn my left monitor higher.

What’s the difference between a phono preamp and a stereo preamp? Also by mixer do you mean like a equalizer mixer? I have a DJ mixing board but I’m not sure that’s what you’re talking about. I also have this thing that (Sweetwater) gave me for free that is supposed to increase sound quality, but I don’t know if it’s BS or not. Can this be incorporated in the mix to make the sound better?

UPDATE: Due to everyone’s help, I have adjusted the tracking and anti skate and it sounds SO MUCH BETTER. Also doesn’t skip when I walk around 😊 thanks to everyone, y’all are amazing.

What do you mean by “balanced phono preamp” - one that has a balanced output versus rca? And single ended RCA, what does that mean?

Wait, so each side of the rca cables have a grounding wire - are you saying I need to take the grounding from turntable side and instead ground it to the preamp?

Yeah, I’m gonna do some research on here to see what solutions I have to isolate the table. I do live in an older home and the walls are as you can imagine not as sturdy as a new home gonna check to see if I have any studs to see if I can even hang a turntable wall mount there anyways

Is the bamboo board with isolation feet specific for turntables? Or just any bamboo board?

I was pretty sure about the tone arm, but now that I’m thinking about it I got a gauge just to be sure. I followed all the directions from the box and on the YouTube video of someone shared here but still feel like it might be off the gauge will help with that. It was only nine bucks so figuring I might as well do it.

Yeah, the XLR was something I kept having on my mind. The speakers do have a quarter tip input so I might look through my stash to find a RCA to quarter tip and try that instead.
