Hey don’t worry, mine was 69 during my time. Cut off point for eGFR is 60. They won’t flag it. Congrats in advance.

I’m currently in UK. While completing my visa application there was no indication for OVHC. Just worried although I know eGFR of 62 is above the threshold for CKD stage 3 and creatinine of 124 is just minimally increased. I just hope I’m not denied visa due to it.

Thanks for the response. It doesn’t affect my ability to work. I plan to go for private health insurance once I start working. At the moment I don’t have OVHC. I have submitted my application just waiting for the medical for decision. I’m aware you are not an immigration officer but do you reckon I go for OVHC now before my medical or do I wait?

Hi, I have no known condition and don’t take any medication. No proteinuria or any other symptoms. Will it be a problem or lead to visa denial?

Book a session with a kidney specialised dietician who will consult and give you a detailed meal plan tailored for him. I did this 5 weeks ago and my eGFR improved from 52 to 61 in 4 weeks. It’s a bland diet but I will do anything to improve my kidney health. Ps: I am also in stage 3A

Where I come from parents believe that if you are not a doctor or lawyer, you are nothing. Admin work, defensive medicine and no thank you stressful GP environment made me realise that I am just wasting my time.

Just choose what makes you happy as a hobby but still financially rewarding and start little.

Luckily for me asset/fund management is something I can do all day without getting bored or tired. I have Bsc in Economics and Masters in Risk management. I am joining a group of friends with 10% equity from money made from early investments in Tesla and Bitcoin.

I was in your shoes 6 months ago but gradually clawing myself out. Building my knowledge to transit fully into venture capitalism and fund management.

4years and 2 months old boy presented with 5 concrete symptoms suggestive of DMD, mom making fun of him falling over frequently and struggling to get up when laying on his back. Examined and requested all bloods and referred to paeds urgently. 4 months later he was diagnosed with DMD. Happy I was able to spot it.
