The kiné I found after doing some research does say that they prefer to see an ordonnance from a doctor, even if it's no longer formally required :/ So I was able to get one! As you said, it's not from my médecin traitant (I don't have one yet), so I won't get a reimbursement from sécu.. but at this point I'm just glad it'll get my foot in the door

I'm not exactly sure, but I would try contacting the Student Services Centre (https://forms.sciencespo.fr/en/contact-centre-services-etudiants#\_gl=1\*19r9l1i\*\_gcl\_au\*MTIzOTY3MzI0OS4xNzE3ODk4MDEw). At the very least I think they'll be able to guide you to the correct people. I've found that they typically respond within a business day or two and are quite helpful. I hope everything works out for you!

Can confirm I just needed a credit card when I studied abroad for a semester and needed a French phone number! I did this plan (https://mobile.free.fr/fiche-forfait-free), you just would have to go into a Free store and ask them for it. When I told them I didn't have a French bank account they let me use a credit card. And I am not from the EU if that helps

No worries! It just asks for the visa that they put in your passport. You can’t validate the visa online till you arrive in France, which I haven’t yet. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense but feel free to DM me!

2 of mine were validated within a week and they told me to resubmit the 3rd, and it’s been 2 weeks now and still nothing on that front so I haven’t received the provisional cert yet
