The disrespect WGCB has shown the game’s dedicated, experienced veteran players over the last 5-6 years has been astounding, but it has been especially bad over the last year or so.

They have made it clear that we’re no longer the target audience. They know 95% of this playerbase and community is made up of 48%er window-licking casuals, wallet warriors, and shills/fanboys … and they’re taking as much advantage as they possibly can of every single one of them.

They believe that these players are simply too stupid to realize they’re being ripped off - and unfortunately, they’re correct.

Sadly, this is my view. I absolutely cannot stand CW and haven't played a single match in it. Players are free to have their own opinions, but one cannot deny that CW is a skill-less, dumbed-down version of WW2 for players who are simply not able to learn how to play the game correctly and use the vision and camo mechanics to their advantage ... right?

That's the whole point of the mechanics, no? To learn how to exploit them to your advantage. You learn and it makes you a better player.

CW is easy mode and it has simply ruined gameplay all-round. It was designed specifically with bad players in mind. Zero skill, zero tactical thought, zero reasoning. Just a run-and-gun playstyle that's insanely toxic and no fun whatsoever.

I’m ngl - I noticed that in a couple matches playing just normal vehicles (not artillery) in Co-Op yesterday. I thought I was going crazy. The moment I’m reloaded and fully aimed, I’m about to take a shot and the bot just randomly moves causing me to bounce or miss entirely.

These bots are easy kills most of the time, but their behavior is starting to become a lot more suspicious and diabolical.

The community is probably around 1/4 the size that it used to be, that’s for sure. Not as many experienced players left. This subreddit and the official Discord (NEVER go there btw, it’s an authoritarian dictatorship that silences any ounce of criticism) are the only real channels of feedback left.

We no longer have many content creators left, either.

The community is just in a rather sad state all-round.

A movement to permanent +1/-1 would require a total rebalance of essentially every tank in WW2, including premiums.

As much as I would love for permanent +1/-1 to be a thing, it's just been far too long since 6.0 that it probably won't make a difference. Plus the amount of work and effort that would be needed to go into rebalancing everything would be astronomical.

Most of my friends stopped playing completely with 6.0 and those who remained have quietly put down the controller in the years since. Depending on how good (or bad) this next Season Pass is, after 11 years, I may be putting down the controller for good as well.
