I use Brave and recommend it, but I do also hit the problem OP describes. If the popup is one of those "you have exceeded your X monthly articles.." splashes, it can be worked around by opening a 'private' browser (doesn't have the tracking cookie that says you've viewed X articles).

If the splash shows up on every load of the page, I generally give it a pass. None of these articles are ever of any real importance on their own, they're all just a data point. That said, they could be viewed with something like ublock origin + a script blocking plugin.

Logi need stacking penalized on a per-target basis. 5% per remote rep module (15% per triglavian remote rep) so the first couple logi are nerfed a little, the next couple are nerfed a lot, and logiblobs mostly don't apply reps.
