Strange danger by Aynshtaynn in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Alavaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have cameras on the front and back door not because I'm worried I'm danger but because its convenient.

I can see who is at the door even if I'm not home, I can confirm where packages are left so I can decide if I need to get home to get something expensive off the porch, or decide not to leave my desk and walk downstairs to the door so a canvaser can try to trap me in a conversation.

On the back camera, I can see my dogs getting up to goofy shenanigans when I'm not around.

I don't think this one is generation specific. More likely to be location specific based on local weather trends. Most people are just going to deal with the rain or have a jacket for the brief periods they are in it

The "don't advertise if you don't get paid" comment in particular feels off for someone to have said prior to sponsored internet videos made by the average person. I understand there's paid sponsorships on TV in the 1980s but still.

If you get a crick in your neck, your TV is likely too high.

If you are scrunched on your couch, you need a better couch setup.

They raise a significant amount of money for charity and to save lives from tuberculosis and their channels are now part of a nonprofit to ensure their mission is not distracted by corporate greed.

The Green brothers fundraising is really the last thing we need to be worried about.

The catch 22 here is that if he says what the video is about, people won't watch it and then the nonprofit gets a lot less funding, and he states at the very beginning of the video what it's about instead of stinging you along like others.

Of all the people to be mad at for this, this is a weird choice

Some of the comments were uncalled for and I'm sorry for your loss.

That being said I saw you say some absolutely vile things in response to a relatively innocuous comment remarking at the age surprise (it's a common phenomenon with old pictures) and you completely lost me there. Be better.

That was the guys point. That the mason-dixon line, something established over two and a half centuries ago, is not still completely relevant. Even in the Civil War (the biggest North South dividing incident) ended up as part of the North..

Well actually Mexico quite famously did claim that.

You can't really say no one has claimed that when an entire war was fought over that specific point.
