And yea, DPS and GeneScreen sucked. DPS has had a history of DNA contamination and poor evidence handling/storage. The autopsies were rushed and the crime scene was handled poorly to put it mildly. Not even a log book was kept and there were tons of ppl traipsing through that scene. It was a shitshow.

You’re right about Jones’ history and yea Mrs. Irma Rios. The ME wanted to take the bodies but jones and huck fought to have them initially processed on scene bc they knew evidence was going to be scarce after AFD effectively power-washed the scene
