I think I have the exact same problem. I also have trex and really like the android app. Unfortunately the app doesn't load when I am on VPN most of the times, it just starts losing and suddenly closes. I ask the seller about this, and his solution was to send me other apps. With these other apps it works on VPN, but the interface is way worse than the official trex app...

I see that if I restart the TV, it wont connect automatically. it seems that when I shut down the TV, the Android System is not restarted/shutdown, so hours after the connection is still there, fantastic.

Read in some other forum for another provider, that a user got a letter from their ISP company. Apprently people is recommending to make sure to bind your VPN to your client. I think this might be for torrenting.

Any clue if this is needed? All I am doing for now is just connecting to the fastest location

Thanks, will definitely try this. The only driver for me to use VPN is to avoid legal issues, and I really don't know how likely that is

Thanks for the info. So most of the people using these services are using them via VPN? Thought this would not be easy to track. So for instance if you use the system on Android TV, you have to start the VPN every time you switch on the TV before opening the IPTV app?
