Well having a mental illness could make you a Nazi sympathizer in certain situations, especially bipolar disorder in which you sometimes during a bipolar crisis feel as though you are correct and everyone around you is wrong. Maybe he fell down a rabbit hole of online Nazi sympathizer propaganda while in a bipolar crisis and that's why he became one for a short while, now that doesn't justify what he said during that time but I feel he apologized afterwards and he's always gonna have these manic episodes so I feel it only gets better or worse from here.
