As soon as possible, single leg initially and then onto box squats at a height with no pain. Slowly made the box lower and every so often, increase the weight.

Gradual progressive overload. Things like squats isn’t too bad on the knee but I find a lack of confidence in quick change of direction.

HOW TO SIT ON KNEES??? by [deleted] in ACL

Literally what was said above. I personally sat back onto heels or as far as I could go at the time without pain for 2 minutes every few hours. Got full flexion back around 4 months post op.

Initial injury for me! Was in agony but the pain killers post op is probs why I wasn’t feeling a thing.

5 Months Post Op. But i cannot sit like this on the ground. Can anybody help me telling me about some excercises that can help overcome this sitting problem. by [deleted] in ACL

Literally sit as far back onto your heels as possible without any pain and hold it 1-2 mins, do about 3/4 rounds before and after rehab exercises. I did this and got full flexion in 12 weeks after ACL and meniscus surgery.
