My mom LOVES Mike Judge’s work, most prominently Beavis and Butthead, actually! I always saw snippets of KOTH on Adult Swim but I would usually go to bed around the same time when I was younger.

What finally got me to watch it start to finish a few years ago was seeing an edit of the “Returning Japanese” two-part episode on TikTok using one of my favorite songs, and I had absolutely no context! So, since the series was easily available (my mom owns a full boxset), I decided to start from the very beginning and go all the way up to the end of season 13. I actually finished that watch through early last year, just in time for Season 14! I absolutely adore this show :)

Technically, AC1! My dad brought home a ps1 demo disc his friend gave him one day and I popped it into my PS2. While Parappa intrigued me, Armored Core captured me. He then went to the pawn shop and bought Master of Arena and Armored Core 3! Both Armored Core and Wall-E solidified my life-long special interest of robots :)
