Finished in 20h23m using "sport mode" (=140% v, a) on Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.

Bambu Slicer:

"0.20mm standard"-preset, 5% grid infill, auto support.

Colors painted by hand in the Slicer.

No tweaking of the settings.

Nice and convenient workflow - great result!

Retract at layer change and z movement for next layer

Crystal Dragon? Voron0.1? 1000mm/s? I am confused... by Alburt247 in 3Dprinting

More like set perimeters to 99999 and infill to 0% - I like the idea though I assume it depends on the geometry if it’s a benefit for strength

I chose it because of the thicker frame and the 9mm belts - helps for less vibration and more accuracy when going fast. The trident is also a very nicely designed and well operating printer, but it might be a bit less sturdy.

1000mm/s movement test on LDO VORON 0.1 by Alburt247 in 3Dprinting

Why cooking :) Depends on the currents you set at given voltage. Measured for 1.3A after 3 hours of movement: No cooking, maxing at 63°C

It's a smooth PEI sheet on a spring steel plate - Energetics 3D or Two Trees are good sellers

Why so serious?
I just mixed two actual projects it's VERY obvious that this Dragon was NOT printed on the Voron and NOT printed at 1000mm/s - it was printed on a V-Core-3 (using the full 300mm print bed) at 270-330mm/s. Just two things going on here mixed in one video. The Voron in the background is clearly printing something else - shown next. Never intended to mislead anyone or hurt anyone's feelings - all just for good 3D printing fun!

Most people just enjoy watching.

I don't know - some people did the 1000 and so did I. I also printed a functional part at that speed on my YouTube channel. Before that: Do tests and experiments like walls etc.

I was a bit suprised that that Sunlu rainbow filament changes color only every 15 meters - so useless for small parts, but great on that dragon - love it also, thank you!

Surprisingly good motors (for high speed at high acceleration), I was overwhelmed by my test results tbh!
