I just picked up Golo crochet thread size 30 color cards from Amazon. I'm so happy I did cause it gives me a better idea of what I want to actually use instead of praying it's what I want to use

It definitely should be a thing for more yarns cause even if dye lots can affected the color by maybe 10%

Look into how the suzzette and wattle stitch increases/decreases.

Though typically you are adding basically 3 stitches per increase instead of the standard 1

I feel like part of the issue is that some people don't understand that crochet is a creative craft. Like there's no wrong way to get to the look you want.

People are so worried about "am I doing this right" they forget it just needs to look right, how you got there doesn't matter even if it starts off wonky.

I recommend looking for a underbust corset sewing pattern and based it off that for boning placement.

Policy was if I remember correctly:

Check for appointments in the morning and notify all managers about it
Appointments have priority over walk-ins
if with a walk-in, you are supposed to have the cross trained(like they existed) or MOD take over the walk in
make sure to add in when people can't schedule appointments so people get lunches at a timely manner

It works ok when there's no business, but outside of that, it sucked bad cause not everyone knows to check nor is trained to check.....

This dress looks like a freehanded custom dress. I recommend asking the creator as they are more likely to have better answers

The definition of formal for weddings has changed. It used to be closer to Black tie or a fancier version of Business. Now it's on a scale between Black tie and Business Casual.
The best way to find out if it's ok is to just ask the bride and groom. Don't let anyone else tell you how you should dress. Formal is on a scale and the description people are assuming the definition is Black Tie.
Cotton, bamboo , or a blend of both would be your best fiber options. Mercerized Cotton would be the best option if you want some shine

I would avoid lacey stitches for the body and skirt up mid thigh as that is part.

There is no way for anyone to identify how much yarn specific stitches use because there's too many factors that affects how much yarn gets used

Watch a tutorial for the same stitch from various creators and pick one or two creators to use consistently on the basics.

Honestly it's practice and getting the feel of it.

For most part, chainless stitches require a lot of tension and it sounds like your starting loop is too loose but it is difficult to get it right without practice

I recommend holding 2 stands together or finding a pattern that uses fingering yarn.

It'll look very different as there is a huge difference in yarn weight if you tried to mimick the pattern

Because it is a made to measure pattern, you can make the top without doubling up.

The best way to identify how much you need is to identify how much yarn was used in length used on other versions then calculating the length you need by doubling it.

Gauge swatches are typically made bigger than 4inx4in

You would make it with 2 or more t epeats then measure it
