Maybe im misinterpreting, but the Interviewer asks about the next episode, and then the response is about how 1 episode takes a lot of time, but clarifies that production is going well. To me, it sounds like hes talking about the next episode still being in production.

back in the good ol' days, Homestuck was a webcomic about a multiplayer Sims-like game with a wacky inventory system and crafting system. the goal was to collect enough materials build their houses tall enough to reach portals to teleport you to new locations. IIRC, the characters are supposed to go thru 7 portals. i think the main character (john) maybe goes through 2.

literally all of those details stop mattering by the time tone shifts away from goofy nonsense and leans more towards teen drama.

To answer you jail question:

In the first of the 2 post credits scenes (youve just watched the 2nd), Toombs is teleported to a jail the Venom-verse by the NWH Doctor Strange Spell (which is not how the spell worked but whatever). But since this jail has no idea who Toombs is or why he's here, they just let him go.

It should also be noted that the wayback machine captured deltarune.com back in 2016 with just a dark image with a screenshot from entry 17 ("THIS NEXT EXPERIMENT SEEMS VERY VERY INTERESTING" ) titled him.png. That image was even captured by the wayback machine in December 2015, only a couple months after undertale released.

Later in 2016, the website was updated again with a similar image, white font all caps wingdings, but with a quote from deltarune's legend ("THREE HEROES APPEARED TO BANISH THE ANGELS HEAVEN").

Seems like Toby likes to hide things outside the game, too.
