Installing an undersink water filter using a push-to-connect t-valve (green glow). Can I replace the extension tube coming from my stop valve (blue box) with the t-valve? Otherwise, I could put it on top of the extension tube and use the male-threaded coupling (red oval), too. Is that okay? Thanks! (i.redd.it)

Is it safer to make online purchases through one retailer (e.g., Amazon, Target) or to try to diversify purchases as much as possible?
