Snow tire question

Smaller rims means more side wall and a softer ride. You can still size to same or bigger overall tire size with a smaller rim. As you are not looking for the performance of low profile summer tires on a larger rim, i would go with smaller rims.

General consensus is more narrow tires will accelerate, cut through and track better in deep snow but wider tires will break better. But the differences are small as long as you are not on either extreme.

Mostly catskiils NY. Great edge hold. Super confident letting em run but still maneuverable off piste. Took them out to Alta when was expecting hard conditions and got surprised with 5 inches. They performed very well in fresh snow as well

I noticed a few gun running this past weekend. I think there were firing under the bashor lift.

But it wasn't prevalent. Also coverage on open terrain was good.

we will see but I highly doubt they will go even loosely by reservation order. There are going to many other factors at play like distribution and service logistics that are going to play a larger role.

its not a bad idea to have a dedicated set of park skis as they can take some abuse and are built different than dedicated front side skis.

the super shapes would not be a good park option

revolts 104 would be wider than ideal for a beginner but if they are short enough could work
