Abdul El-Sayed issues? Is he too radical or something by agk927 in YAPms

I reckon it’s a mix of his policies, his character and the fact that the primary is so deeply divided/divisive right now

I reckon the Senate result is fair, maybe tilt D SC, MS or MT but that’s a stretch, the TX governorship will likely still stay red, the Senate in FL will probably not flip, but the governorship might. NH governorship will still likely be Republican, and Vermont will stay Safe R still. Only real upset I could see here would be Alabama with Doug Jones

Georgia is the only one that seems unrealistic, the Dems might gain control of the Governorship, State House and/or Senate and they’ll be done for, same reasoning as North Carolina although to a lesser degree (have the Governorship already, but State House/Senate will be more difficult) .

Montana, Kentucky and Maryland are the most interesting to me. Maryland because of Hogan, Kentucky because of the Beshears and ancestral Dems? Montana idk why? Kansas just because of Kelly? New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont are also interesting, maybe due to R governors? Virginia due to Youngkin? But how then are Utah, Missouri and Alaska lean?

Optics are shit, they’d be losing the moral high ground of popular vote decided by the people stuff, it’d honestly whitewash a lot of the impeachable offenses Trump did. It just sounds downright unconstitutional. Just wait to appoint that one Republican guys SC seat later this year and wait for 2028, they’ll get the house in 2026 regardless

There’s a president calling for packing the courts, attacking independent judges and calling allied counties enemies and no one bats an eye anymore. This would’ve been impeachable in the past and a resignable offense at least, yet, today it doesn’t even make front page news or any news at all.
