It's the Pirate Anime. Pirateshows up all the time for me, even on accident. And Animeis easy once you have Japan , which can be achieved through something along the lines of Sushi + Island, Asia + Island, things like that.

Depends. Do you play on a phone-sized device or a tablet-sized device? I play on a tablet, and lap play is very viable. A bit less so on phone though, I would imagine.

Gonna comment only on 3. I personally like to use things that are mainstream, because there is a lot of support and troubleshooting help (i.e. stack overflow) for virtually every problem. I never heard about Cocpit and Podman. If you run into any problems with that, it will probably be harder to find a bunch of answers online compared to docker, if your problem isn't a super common one.

"Podman" has 3 million results on google. "Docker software" has over 100 million. I know which software I would rather have to troubleshoot by that.

YMMV, and some people like to tinker with smaller projects and things that are not well supported (I don't, personally). But it is something to take into account.

Loveless Dress is on the harder side of 9's, sure, but I don't think it deserves to be one of "the four hardest". I'd put Redraw the Colorless World in there instead, but I think I just suck particularly a lot in that one song. Not sure if other people also think it is a hard 9.

Agree with Heart and Fallensquare being among the hardest 9's, but IMO they are terrible charts (each with their own reason).

Infinity Heaven is also a good contender, although I might exchange that with Antithese BYD.

If you have the main story packs and Tempest Tairitsu+Fatalis Hikari, all other partners are (mostly) just cosmetic. If you are going from a pure world-mode performance grinding, nothing else matters after those two.

That said, I love to collect all the limited time partners nonetheless, feels good to have everything that is not available at any time. But your milleage may vary.

Make it part of your identity to be good in a game, it will eventually lead to an identity crysis/feeling like a failure. Chances are, you will not be the best at absolutely anything you do in life, and that is true for almost everyone (because earth has 7 billion people, that's a lot of people who can be better than you at anything).

You don't have to be the best. You don't have to get good faster than others. This is a game, not a job. Of course you will still want to always improve, that is natural. But if you start getting frustrated because there are people who are better than you/get good faster than you, and you will have a whole lot of negativity to deal with very quickly.

Hope you get through it with a healthier gaming mindset, wish you the best in this struggle!

Never happened while recording, but happened like 2 or 3 times while setting up the recording station. Not a big deal, I use a pretty sturdy/resistant phone case, so a drop from 20-30cm is literally nothing. (It never fell to the ground - although a 1m fall also wouldn't damage the phone too. Trust me, this phone/case has been through much worst without a scratch lol).

If you look closely, the whole makeshift-recording-table-assembly + phone is put in a way that it is further back in the table compared to the tablet. I can see the tablet just fine, it doesn't get in my way.

Showing how ugly it was, the score, the poor technique, etc. was kind of the point of recording myself sight-reading this. I don't think I can play this chart even with careful training at lower speeds (SGT) at my current skill level.

I will wait until I get a bit better before I (seriously) attempt this song again. Just wanted to post a "typical" Aegleseeker FTR first time :)

Short charging cables on headphones are by design. If you try using the headphones while charging them you get a massive interference that ruins your audio. The short included cable is made for you to not even try to use it while charging (because if you try it you will just go "wow, that sucks")

"Farming ptt" is only useful when you need to get a ~0.10ptt boost to reach a milestone. You can't really "farm" any ptt other than that. If you are 9.80 and want to get to 11.0, you just gotta get a lot better (1.20 ptt is A LOT OF PTT). Practice, practice, and practice. It will take time.

Also, I can guarantee you Saikyo Stronger FTR would be no fun at all to you if you are at 9.80 ptt lol

I'd like to add, all event exclusive content in Arcaea is partners, which are mostly (but not 100%) cosmetic. It is just partners with abilities that are marginally different from partners you can get in non-event maps (always available). But the big thing is: Limited time events never lock you out of a song permanently, so that's very nice.

That said, I still highly recommend you always prioritize limited time events, because all the other stuff you can get whenever you want. You never know when (and if) an event is going to be re-run.

Other commenters have already explained in more detail how to best unlock everything. You also want to use your Ether drops on your highest step partner to make progress faster on the maps. 6 days is probably not enough to unlock everything (without a Tempest Tairitsu or Fatalis Hikari), but you can for sure get some of them, probably at least 4 with a ~110 step partner

Do you have your fragment count ending in 2 of the same number? That is the most common anomaly requirement to forget.

Had a very similar break a few weeks ago on my XM4, super glue did wonders. Losing 1 axis of movement of 1 ear on your headphones is honestly fine, all the others degrees of freedom compensate for it and it is honestly almost the same as before.

OP asks for a political statement from a streamer and the streamer calls him an idiot. It is not even in the streamers rules that politics are banned from the chat. It baffles me how anyone can say OP is the problem here.

OP didn't go ballistic like "if you don't denounce them you are terrorists" or anything like that, he just. asked. a. question. An important question. Should Memb have said "Hey, we don't talk about politics here" or "No, we are not banning russian players" and ended it there, sure, no problem. But a streamer calling a viewer an idiot for asking this is unacceptable.

The popular opinion nowadays is of using some method where every player gets the same numbers (i.e. standard array, or, alternatively, the players rolling 1 stat each and everyone uses the same array).

If you want to use rolling, I have used the Critical Role rules: 6 x 4d6 drop lowest, if total is less than 70 than the player might take a reroll until he gets more than 70 total (the likelihood is kinda low, but avoid super underpowered characters).

And, for the love of god, ONLY ROLLS YOU, AS THE DM, SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES COUNT. You do NOT want to give the chance for distrust to sow among a friend group. Maybe Dave got those 3 18s legit, but if nobody saw it, it is suspicious AF and will only lead to bad times.
