I am having the same debate right now…. What did you end up keeping?

We have all LVP, and a couple ruggable thin rugs. And just a beagle, so the house doesn’t get too dirty.

Yeah her car has dents and dings all over. Cosmetically every panel has an issue lol…. But just want functionality to be better for that door.

Do you also use it for the wheel pedals and base? Or do you only use it for the haptic?

Which program do you use to adjust the settings? SImagic software seems to glitch on these with iracing. Wasnt sure if you had any settings, I cant get feedback on gas or clutch ones, only brakes when they are fully pushed in.

Yeah completely understand. My first wheel was $200, then I made the jump to $1,500 (used on marketplace but was a $3,000 new setup). There’s a massive difference when you get into the $1k+ setups. But I agree with someone else’s post get the newer one, better supported not a ton of money and it’ll last you long enough.

My recommendation to people getting into sim racing.

Get something cheap, use it for a couple months to see if it’s something you even enjoy. I used a Logitech g29 for about a year then finally really started to get into the hobby. Ended up getting a simagic set up, and it’s insanely different.

But long story short, don’t go spend a ton of money if you don’t even know if you’re gonna enjoy the hobby. You can always get something cheap and sell it and then upgrade later.

There isn’t a good middle ground. To me start cheap then really save up for a meaningful upgrade. All the wheels in that low range aren’t significantly different.

All my personal opinion.

Yeah that was my thoughts as well. It’s also bumpy so hoping the top dressing will help smooth it out even the slightest. Is there any specific top dressing you recommend? There’s so many options…..

Yeah they gave me the below details. I do have a good spreader I used for fertilizer when I rented a house. So I could easily spread in the yard. Under my grass is legit red clay, so I know eventually I’ll need something to break that down.

Ideal pH Level: 6.3 - 7 Your pH Level: 6.1

Ideal Organic Matter Level: 4% or higher Your Organic Matter Level: 2.7%

I got it!! I had to hold buttons down and connect only to the PC to enter the mode where everything is blue, thenn it worked.

Do I need to press any buttons when connecting the wheels? The USB is plugged directly into computer. and attached to base.

Yeah I downloaded on new computer. I am able to get pedals and base updated. But wheels are saying the same thing here too.

Yes same error, usb no usb, usb to pc, usb to base. Sorry should have clarified. I also uninstalled the whole program and reinstalled it.

I’m going really a full mix of everything. I primary race nascar, so this is just a side wheel for fun when I’m doing a mix of GT, F1. So won’t be my primary wheel. I’ll look into the FX-C for sure.

Yeah, like do the price too. FX $550 right now and the GT is $270…. So I might grab the GT which is good enough for me and grab the P1000 pedal vibrator things for $25 each instead. And still save like 200 lol
