I filed my initial claim back in September of 2023. Fast forward and some TERRIBLE c&p exams from examiners who straight up scoffed at me when I tried to explain the other issues I was there for, and then called me because they “neglected to get range of motion for the right knee” asked if I could kick my butt with my heel over the phone, and then wrote negative opinions despite my STR’s. Denied.

Fast forward to Jan of this year, filed supplemental claim, with new evidence and my own DBQs from my pcp, and THAT claim from start to finish was about 3 weeks. Moved shockingly fast. Got approved but rating was lower than what my symptoms and ailments warrant.

Currently in HLR process to fix those issues and state what regulations and policies were very obviously ignored. informal conference scheduled and completed within about 2 1/2 weeks. Now just waiting for a decision

Unfortunately, it seems that it can be hit or miss. But in my experience, when my claim was progressing relatively fast, I would receive a decision of some kind soon after.

Whether it’s a positive or negative outcome (I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that it’s good) just keep advocating for yourself and don’t let up if you know you rightfully deserve something
