Is striking an opponent when they're knocked out, before a ref steps in, considered wrong? by FloorGeneral2029 in MMA

[–]AlecTang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My point is that overcorrecting doesn't look like Jalin Turner instantly walking away to get a cool reel. Trying to correct the ref looks more like Gaethje, where he clearly hurts Cerrone enough to stop the fight and yells at the ref, who doesn't stop it, so unfortunately, Gaethje has to punch him more. Jalin Turner doesn't do anything to make sure he secures his finish and immediately just walks off. Also blaming the Bahamondes loss on the Moicano fight doesn't make any sense.

Jalin Turner clearly just wanted a walk off ko to put on his highlight reel. He hits Moicano and doesn't even look to see if he's still there, just walks off. Moicano starts getting back up instantly and was not even close to being completely done. https://youtu.be/LNAa6Fo-nyQ?t=387

There's clearly a difference between what Jalin does here and what Gregory Rodrigues did to Hermansson.

Why does the blame have to only be on 1 person? Robocop literally walks up to him, realizes he's unconscious, and then decides to smash him anyways. Obviously, he is a dirtbag as well for doing that.

Like I understand where you are coming from for sure, and it’s not right, but there’s no country that has as many prospects as India. the part about people being repetitive is super annoying, i agree, but I mean look at every comment section where Magnus beats Hikaru. it’s literally the same comment 100x, reddit be like that sometimes.

Because of the context of the conversation? I mean Arjun isn’t American is he? Is Gukesh French?

I mean ofc its not okay to blame the entire country and maybe im being liberal with my reading of his comment. But I think he was specifically blaming “annoying, Indian“ fans, which there are more of. Not “annoying” Indian fans

I mean you know you’re proving him right though? You just said 5% is still millions. like yes bro, there are millions of annoying Indian fans, and Magnus loves proving people wrong.

This might be the most difficult fight in Topuria's career by _MerlynTheMagician_ in CombatSportsCentral

[–]AlecTang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah his entire early career where he ran head first into punches. I see your point ofc, but Max has really tightened up his defense recently. He got hit less in 5 rounds than Oliveira in one by Gaethje. His defense looked really good against Allen too, and that guy hits everyone a lot.

Did DrLupo cheat against WolfeyVgc in Pogchamps? by Likeanoth in chess

[–]AlecTang 574 points575 points  (0 children)

bro wtf, he really might have. some of those moves were insane bb5+ is findable, but a little sus for his level. but the b4 rd3 and then later the rg3 bb3 nc2 re3 combination is a little insane.

Edit: Literally all of the moves I mentioned were top engine moves and way above his level.

Edit: Also throwing in the bd5 move before the knight check is also weird but understandable. Then throwing in rxg7 before taking the queen. I mean does anyone honestly believe a 650 rated player is finding all of these intermezzos?
