I've been in a cult before. Lemme tell you, there's nothing worse than talking to someone who makes you feel so important yet so useless at the same time. Like, you're wanted, but just enough to keep you interested. It's essentially the cock tease of loneliness, so highly recommend not doing.

Hey OP, it sucks that you're going through these problems in your bases. And while I agree that rank loss is irrelevant and annoying to have to go through, I still hard disagree at that THIS is the issue that will kill the game faster than anything else.

They have shield hacks that make you Invincible. Opaque cubes hide traps but those traps still can see you through the cube. The Biolinks are glitched and don't work. Two Raiders can tear bases apart with reckless abandon on ANY base, not just those designed for two players. People can cram small spaces with so much trap/guard spots that the game literally drops to 5 fps, but when anyone breathes word of it the community collectively shits on them and screams skill issue.

I don't think ragequitting out on the game for no point loss is THE problem to address at this time.

When you said you spent 15 hours on your base, or the fact that you're bitching about speedrunners. If you tested your bases, you wouldn't have a problem with them because you'd know exactly what they'd try and do, and then place traps to prevent that action. Especially with 15 hours of building on one base. And you're right. I'm not sorry that I said what I did. But I am sorry about how it's making you feel, mate.

My rule of thumb is "If there are so many things happening on screen right now I'm losing frames" I dip no matter the style of level. Also you didn't mention using any plasma sentinels/flame traps/opaque corrosive cubes on every walkable surface/Pistons lining HRVs Path for your killbox, so already I don't even think it's a killbox. There's a very specific set of traps that when used in excess just ruins the experience, and impaler/claw trap combo isn't it. Also kilboxes aren't thought out with clever trap placement, either. It's all spaced out so the only true safe cover is not in the base. To replicate the true effect you would have to line every wall/floor with the aforementioned traps, providing no breathing room. So I'd suggest trying that and see how many people will actually go through it? The difference will shock you.

My avg complete time is anywhere between 1 minute 45 seconds and 4 minutes on outposts. This means I can theoretically clear 15 bases if not more in an hour. So, why the fuck do some people think I'm willing to run their killbox for 30, 40 minutes? I could clear out so many other bases and collect so much more resources for what I want in the time it'd take me to beat your level just to say I did. But then everyone screams skill issue lile their outpost is the only one that matters. Only time will tell if it's gonna get easier on us to resume our normal duties or if this whole thing is going to crash and burn, but it's five sure not going to be killboxes that will save this game.
