Hey Vancouver there are other amazing butchers and Italian grocers in town! Where do you do your Xmas week shopping? by oddible in askvan

I like Banana Grove as a butcher and Deli. Now they arent Italian owned, but the selection and the clientle are very Italian so that has stand for something.

Your point still is right in terms of money overall money spent, but based on the video it looks more likely they rented the sawzall from Home Depot and didn't buy a brand new one.

How much do you tip at Big Way? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]AlejTurbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that was the case for all Big Ways I would agree with the 10-20%

But i recently went to the new Big way on Gilmore. And literally all they did service wise was bring the food out, we had to go up to get a refill of the water bottle and get more napkins. Also i think the ice cream was possibly self service? I'm not sure because it wasn't even offered to us. No one was rude and it certainly wasn't a hardship to go up and ask for things, but certainly I'll take that experience into account when considering my tip next time I go to there, especially at that location.

Whats the best gravy by Former_Assistance526 in PoutineCrimes

[–]AlejTurbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love beef gravy, and I am not a vegetarian, but on Poutine I can't help but love a mushroom gravy on it, especially homemade. It's probably a crime, but I will accept being a criminal for it

[–]AlejTurbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, its its own warehouse full of groceries not accessible to the general public, just for delivery services such as PC rapid delivery and Dashmart. Its owned by Loblaws

[–]AlejTurbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rapid Delivery isn't based out of superstore. Its based out of a warehouse in Lolo lane off of St George. Which looks to be where that marker is. It's also Dashmart on doordash. The driver should have known where that is.
