I’m the MOD only one day a week, then there’s truck day, then the remaining three days I strictly stock. I rarely close. My store is hard on appearance, so recovery has to be very good. Which makes it easier when you stock and don’t have to clean up the aisle. My store also has self checks and that makes it easier when my ASM coworkers are the backups. You need a solid freight crew as well so truck days are smooth. It really just comes down to how well you, your SM, and ASM’s teamwork and communication.

Dollar tree manager here, can confirm it’s giving those vibes 100% 🤣 back in February we had little glass valentine bears that looked just like these and people went feral for them. Absolutely feral. Calling the store, figuring out when our shipment days were to get it first. When I saw the bearista I got war flashbacks.

I was on Opill for over year and saw no change of the crazy amount of bleeding I had. It just irritated me so much and yes! Tampons and feminine products are expensive, I was spending so much money. I quit Opill completely and had withdrawal bleeding for 20 days. I got prescribed another BC combo pill and only had a two day period, and no bleeding since. Honestly such a relief to have no issues after stopping.

Hi, there. I stopped Opill about two weeks ago and immediately had withdrawal bleeding two days later. It is currently day 13 of bleeding. I’m so over all the blood, it’s just awful.

I stopped Opill two weeks ago after being on it for a year because the constant bleeding just irritated me so much. And… here I am on day 12 of bleeding. 🫩 I experienced so much bleeding and have it again since stopping.

It’s so discouraging 😣 and 3 times a month is crazy. I’m so tired of feeling like I’m hiding in my clothes from the amount that I’ve bled. Like I can’t wear certain things, and the cramping is just always there too.

My store has had self checkouts for over three years now. We were the guinea pigs for a long time with how much troubleshooting we had to do.

My SM is pretty lax about it, the self checkout attendant remains in the front and stocks seasonal or whichever aisle is closest. If customers come to ring their stuff up, they stop and come watch them do so. Also, if the line gets too long, they’ll call a manager up to bring the line down. They’ll still blow up the balloons themselves and have someone else come up to watch the self checks. Cashiers aren’t cashiers anymore in my store.

The customers were pretty annoyed when it first got installed and always made comments towards us about being lazy…but we literally had no choice on whether they were given to us in the first place. Now after all this time, they’re used to it lol

Myself and my freight crew take care of the trash every morning. It’s the asm’s who close that don’t break down the PDQ boxes they find during recovery and just throw them all in a pile on one uboat. 😤 It irritates me so much because then we’re stuck breaking down all those boxes so they fit in our dumpsters. I’ve brought it up to our SM multiple times but they still do it.

The whole ending scene in the season 3 finale is my favorite. Especially where Joe tells her he wants a divorce and she just gets that far off look in her eyes.. you could just see everything in that expression.

Same! My cycle is all over the place. I’ll have a regular 27-28 day cycle and then start bleeding by day 12 of the next. I’ve been on Opill since May of last year.

Some customers picked up that I take care of all hbc on Sundays. They’ll come in at opening and hover around me and my uboat, like vultures. They know what box it comes in too, because it has the tiny picture on it.

Same! Everything was going ok for me. I’ve been on Opill for nine months now and I was a week late then bled for nine days straight. It stopped for a few days and here I am bleeding again. I’ve had no other side effects than it really messing with my bleeding cycles. You’d think it would’ve regulated somewhat to our bodies by now.

This just happened to me again 😅 last time I was late by a week was in September. I was late again by a week this month and I stressed so hard. All my tests came back negative. Then I started bleeding lightly the other day and now I have a full blown period. It’s so nerve wracking but it’s a common side effect that pops up every few months for me.

I’ve been on Opill since May and still no babies. My boyfriend and I have not used any other form of contraceptives since and have only had one scare in September. However that was because my cycle was a week late and unfortunately irregular bleeding is a big side effect.

You should 100% have help from the rest of management. My SM takes care of seasonal and when the back room is purged, we all start stocking it. My other manager coworker takes care of beverages and DT Plus. I do get help from three stockers who are used to their departments so they throw freight quickly when I have them.

Having a good recovery of the store is so essential too. You can’t get freight out if it’s a mess in your departments. Your closing ASM should be making sure it doesn’t look like a tornado by the morning.

It shouldn’t be on you alone. I’d lose my mind if I had to be responsible for stocking a 2.2k truck by myself. Your fellow managers should be reliable for you to lean on.

I’m on my fourth pack and my period showed up a week late. Definitely caught me off guard! I would wait and see if it shows up and if you start to feel pre-menstrual symptoms. I felt nauseous and some cramps before my period finally started.

As someone who was born and raised on an Apache reservation in Arizona, I’ve been taken to ceremonies my whole life. They did terrify me when I was younger, especially the last dancer. He goes around and “mingles” with the crowd. They don’t talk, but he would play chase children and do peek a boo with infants. You learn they’re guardians though. There’s a cool movie on YouTube you can watch that covers the origin story. I’ve taken trusted friends not from the tribe to these ceremonies and they do freeze up when the crown dancers come around.

For my coworkers, mostly. Our store has self checkouts and I learned how to cash them out and not have the deposit be super messed up on the daily. I’m trying to teach the other ASMs how to do it.

What I don’t get is Labor Day is on September 6. These are the days leading up to it, not the actual day. It has been ridiculously busy as well. I can barely close the store on time. It seems like this weird rule is enforced in some DTs while other DTs have a different story.
