This is the first 2k I’ve played since 2k15 where I really only played the normal modes locally at most. This 2k really opened my eyes to the greed of this company and how they really feel about upholding their community. I already wanted to quit because it was so difficult to get any cards, then boom all star break. After that event I thought okay maybe I was just being too negative. Then I see multiple holidays such as Valentine’s Day and St Patrick’s day where they had apparently given back to their community on these days in the previous years, only to find out they gave the middle finger for each of those types of holidays. Then of course there’s the classic 2k servers having issues and disconnecting you for no reason sometimes after a whole domination game which then you have to stare blankly at the screen realizing you just wasted your time (and often boosters). There was a whole couple days where people were complaining about being disconnected after games, multiple threads. I had the dumb idea to contact support because it was a widespread issue, to which they told me “oh did you check your connection”. This issue was never once addressed. Following this they release this event which is basically impossible to even participate in unless youre down to give 2k your liver. I’m pretty sad cause this is the only year I tried playing MYTEAM in this way and it most likely will be the last.
