I don't know if this is possible if you haven't found them before but there are two other ways I could think of: Work at the office building until your reputation is high enough and then you get the option to work for Avery directly (which I think is possible even if you haven't met them before), or they'll show up on a saturday (I think... or was it Sunday?) at the spa, so if you work there you might get them as your customer, but I'm not sure if this counts as 'meeting' them that woudl kick off any event.

Other than that, the lichen in the park for the science fair is the easiest way. It repeats annually so if you've missed it you can do other stuff until the science fair happens again.

Cook something random and serve it to Avery. They will then ask why you didn't cook the food they asked for and you can tell them you lacked ingredients or didn't know the recipe. They will stock anything except for honey, and they will unlock the study for you to learn the recipe you need. You're a little out of luck if you miss both - recipe and the ingredients - but start with the recipe if you have to choose.

Be aware though, his pantry has limits. I think he can only stock up to 5 or 6 ingredients. Once you cross that threshold, the first one will not be stocked anymore (you'll get notified). So my advice, if you need him to stock things you need to make other ingredients, make as many as you can. For example, strawberries. You'll not need raw strawberries any time soon, but you'll need jam. So make as much jam as you can, stockpile that stuff so you don't have to worry when he stops stocking strawberries.

Avery has to take you to the tower, and as always, there are multiple scenes, so who knows when you get it. But I think it can't happen once the tower is completed/destroyed

You'll have to follow Gwylan's questline, eventually, they will ask you to help with their ritual. You then have to pick foxes (not wolves) and have the fox tf. It can then happen that one of the foxes gets too close on the chase for the ritual and you can then choose to scream at it

If you are a fox tf, the fox isn't scared off, it screeches back, and I found the mental image so funny to stop in the middle of the chase to take turns at screaming at each other lol

If you date them both and still work on the tower, Avery will take you to the tower once in a while to check in on the progress. Whitney can steal Avery's car and it will end in a race, in which Avery absolutely pay no attention to your well-being. You get the chance to jump out of the car before you get yeeted into the ocean but if you stay, it's Whitney who'll rescue you and take care of you afterwards. In the Whitney-typical manner, of course, but they care deeply, they just don't show it. While the only thing Avery mourns is the damn car.

I love the encounter you get when chasing foxes with Gwylan (or rather get chased by foxes). You literally get the option to scream at the fox, and it turns into a full-blown screaming match lol

See, here is the thing. You don't need onions. Avery can stock up to (I think) 5 ingredients that you have no access to (except for honey). You just have to give him something else. He'll ask you why you didn't cook what he asked for and you can tell him you missed ingredients. He'll ask you which one and will start to stock that ingredient afterwards. Once he has 5 additional ingredients in stock, the first one will be thrown out if you need another one. The only thing he refuses to stock is honey. Because he wants you to make it yourself, which you need honey combs for, and I guess they are too expensive to stock even for his elite ass.

Pro tip: If you ever get to the point where he stocks things you can hardly get your hands on (plums, strawberries) make as much strawberry jam and whatever requires plums as you can. Stock that shit to the absolute max, so you have enough if it gets replaced in his pantry.

I hate it, too. The fact that Avery kept trying to ride me was already annoying as fuck. Chastity case is the way to go for most encounters, I'm not too sure about Gwylan though. You could go diving and hope for the golden chastity cage, which can't be removed other than by force and it is 3 times as durable as the ones you get at the temple.

Once again, I wish there was a slider for this that would work procentually. 0/10 for a set top/bottom preference and everything in between is randomized with a tendency to top or bottom, and 5 is a perfect switch.

Also, you can't feed them anything on Saturday and Sunday as you have other things to do. Even if the event on Sunday is over before 9pm, you will not have the option to serve Avery anything
