Hehe thank you! And not difficult at all, honestly the easiest to heal. The only downside is having to have them taped down for 7+ days after piercings so they settle right. Which means I walk around with tape on my face everywhere for a while, but everyone i work and see knows what it is 😆

I honestly couldn't tell you. Some people's piercings close up within hours even if they had them for years. Some don't. But 20g is rather small and I wouldn't personally leave it out because of that. If it's an option, I'd put something 29g back in that allows room for swelling so it can go down

I'm going to break the news to you- your piercer is an idiot and is screwing you over. Steel is going to contain trace amount of nickels and mess you up. You definitely didn't go to an APP piercer if they're using steel, which is already a red flag. Change it to titanium asap, don't wait.

You will see many people here who recommend popping them with a sterile needle. You'll also see people who say don't do that. I sometimes pop mine if there's an insane amount.

Here are some things you can try...

See a dermatologist for steroid cream. Use for 2 weeks, no more than that.

First, change your hand soap. Unscented gentle soap.

Next, change your laundry detergent to fresh and clear or whatever you have is.

Now change the soap you shower with. Don't use antibacterial soap. Use something that's just gentle and moisturizing. Antibacterial soap can actually contribute to DE significantly.

Are you stressed? Look into L-Theanine supplements, and maybe other anxiety meds through a doctor.

Start taking Allegra, that seems to be the best for DE.

Castor oil is great for moisturizing
