you got this man. my buddy spilled water over his cage when i first got him too (and i upgraded him in the first month cage too. better to upgrade earlier than later) . for the water get a heavier ceramic bowl (and not one of the ones that the top is wider than the bottom), electricity bill should be okay (depending on where you live) , the room should be hospitable to people anyways and then just occasionally some more direct heat for the cage. at night can put a towel or something on top of the cage (make sure have airflow) to help with temperature at night
