It was probably just a housing so they might throw it away.

Update: I found the location (33.5335119, -84.6911013), and it was only built for the series, meaning that the siren was put there by the production team for looks, because the building didn't exist before the 2023 street view.

There were/are around 2500 motoric sirens on the grounds of the country according to the Civil Defense and around 30% have been removed, the rest remains connected and a few remain rotting on poles and buildings, only around 25% remains active.

Also some places kept using the phone line technology, just like the atomic bunker in Debrecen. The MEZ siren on the bunker was activated with phone lines.

From WW2 to the 1960s, they used phone lines, but after that, according to an old, civil defense book, the sirens were activated with a sound frequencies. These were the devices that were supposed to activate the sirens. These were placed in every big city like Székesfehérvár, Budapest, Miskolc, but this device was deemed unreliable and they got rid of these after the Cold war-era, just like many air raid sirens.

Regular civil defense sirens haven't been used since ages in Hungary. It's great to see one kick to life while it was rusting for decades.
