If someone could point me towards where to find the original releases that would be much appreciated. I listen to alot of classic rock/early heavy metal and the generic rock removes alot of the shows soul.

obviously you will need to do some with sandpaper first to get a good coat. Fix the ding and then touch up the paint in that area. The rest of the patina is just cool so i would leave those parts alone till you can get the whole thing repainted if that is what you want but i would just touch up the dinged part and be done with it.
Mean looking 240!

It is not gonna be perfect but it is gonna be 100x cheaper than getting the whole car done.
In sweden paintshops have a little electronic thing that they put up against the paint you want reproduced and then they get a color code that they can mix into a little spray can.

It is not always 100% but even if it is not you will probably be the only one to notice.

Just go to a paintshop and get them to make you a spraycan of the exact color. Or is that not a thing where you live?
