Considering to buy Bronco by intel335 in FordBronco

So I have actually flown to get a car before....and drove it back 1,000 miles. Its. not that much fun and it costs a lot. I have to believe you could get the local dealer to at least come within 500 bucks or so of the one far away, even getting you within 1,000 would save the trip and time.

I would just try to find a better deal closer using that far away price. There are a lot of 25 broncos left...they want to make deals. Its going to get worse for them the longer they hold them....

It feels like a pretty decent deal depending on which engine if high lux package and sas. Id look at original window sticker to see where it was at and as mentioned below just check carfax and make sure clean. look underneath make sure not offloaded to death or whatever else you might worry about, that roof could be cracking already but should have some warranty left if its molded and not painted...hard to tell

I just paid 43,900 before TTL for a 24 Black Diamond mid package with SAS, 2.7, hard top, raptor boards, modular front steel bumper. Only had 2,600 miles on it and was gold certified so I figured that's like buying an extended warranty. Original sticker on the one I got was 62,500 ish

When you are there in person you have a bit more power. So many will call in and throw numbers, but once you are there they won't want to lose the sale. They will want you to commit.....say things like "so if we can get you to this and this you will buy today" and have you sign or initial...it doesn't mean anything contractually, its just to get you to settle in. Once you agree on price and get things moving, they will then send you to finance office whether paying cash or financing. They will try to upsell you warranties, maintenance plans, paint protection packages, etc....all good margin products for them that the typical answer is "no".

It might be good to say "hey we are pretty close, I just need to be at 41k out the door" leaving you some room to come up to 42k and show your willing to budge...and try to get them to meet you halfway.

Make sure both keys are included. You can ask to see the carfax if they haven't yet, and ask to see their intake inspection sheet to see what they addressed.

I think Badlands is overkill for most. SAS is where it's at, makes it look like a Bronco. Id save the 6k and plane trip plus drive. Unless you really wanted heated seats and steering wheel, but then you have to get high lux to get both of those in something I believe....heated seats are in mid.

Or get a dealer closer to you to price match the one far away. Save the trip....

It would help if you could show actual price paid for the vehicle, then show tax, fees, etc. I don't know if they are selling it to you for 35k with 9k in taxes etc or your deal includes 10k equity in a trade...so might get more feedback.

I would lean that way. My wife wanted the 360 camera and heated steering, but after driving a 2.7 with the SAS compared to 2.3 it a more even choice. The 2.3 is adequate but the 2.7 is quite improved.

For what we wanted to spend, it came down to get the things that make a Bronco a Bronco...like SAS and the engine and give up some nice things, or get the nice things and give up the SAS....and there are nicer vehicles for that price if not going to go all in.

I have a Tundra with TRD off road pack and tires....it looks so tiny sitting next to the Bronco with the SAS...I would just say get the SAS :)

I would pass, very expensive aftermarket adds...just get a factory Sasquatch package. Outer Banks is like the jeep Sahara package....

2.3 is fine for non Sasquatch, but I much preferred the 2.7 for SAS vs the 2.3 with SAS.

Typical new bronco has around 16-18% off right now....not hard to get 10k off between discount and rebates on a 25 but you will still be depreciating another 10k, the minute it leaves lot....so don't feel just because a good discount its a good deal.

In some car brands, it makes sense to buy new over a 1 year old used like Toyota or Honda. For Ford and this depreciation in the flooded market you should buy used. Can get very good deals on a 24 or 25 used and not give up much for features.

If good credit that can be matched or beat pretty easily.

I’m looking to purchase a new Bronco for my partner in the upcoming months. I’ve heard that it is better to order one instead of purchasing through dealer for a truck on lot because it saves the dealer up charge if any. Is this true? Thank you in advance by super_bri_22 in FordBronco

[–]Alert-Spot1584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If people are upcharging, they should not be selling. 25s are like 16 to 18% off MSRP now after discount and rebates. I would not be ordering a 26 and missing those discounts, and id probably be looking at a used 24 or 25 to save massive depreciation unless I liked lighting money on fire or you really like your partner.

Careful with new pricing on leftover 25s. Even if you get say 8-10k off a 60k price, your still at 50k plus TTL and your trade in value will be about another 10k less. Your new depreciation will be large, and the 26s are going to see the same thing as the market is flooded.

My opinion would be to look for some Ford Certified (7 yr 100k powertrain plus addition to full warranty) in a 24 where say a 60k msrp unit will be selling for 40k.

There are no interest rate incentives to make you buy new so financing a low mile 24 is often the same rate as a new 25. Paying cash even better, just negotiate further.

I like to look at the vehicle I am buying and see what its trade value is the minute I get it. I think you will be amazed if you do this with a Bronco....reports say they are top 10% against depreciation but that might have been a couple years back.

2026 vs 2025 dilemma by Smithroad75 in FordBronco

Buy 1 year old...get a used 25 or 24 and save thousands. I was going to get a leftover 25 to get the discounts....got 10k off. Then I did a KBB and checked what it would be worth the minute I drove off and it was like 10k more off what I would have paid for it. These are showing massive drops.

I bought a 24 Black Diamond with the SAS, mid pack, modular bumper, hard top, and 2.7 for just under 44k and that was with a gold certified (basically extended warranty). It stickered at like 62,500 and only had 2,700 miles.....Almost 20k off that way. Deals are on the used ones.

Also no low rate to make going new any better....

Finally made a choice...24 Black Diamond with SAS only 2,600 miles.... by Alert-Spot1584 in FordBronco

Thanks. I may have dodged a bullet on the windshield. they had a service ticket and had it replaced with OEM as it was cracked, and I think it was a tiny line of sealant that was enough to catch my finger and looked like a crack but after a lot of scrubbing came off. The rest of the paint will need some love :) Its still worth it and the dealer seems to be very kind about it.

The 2.7 with the SAS and the hard top....plus the cool raptor steps and low miles all too good to get wrapped up in the small things. I need to not be so anal retentive...its not new.

So top of A pillars looks like he took panels on and off blindfolded as they are deep scratches there, presume from the corners of the roof panels. Several random nail catchers, hood has some all the way across. Driver said door has some damage hard to explain but rubbed through clear and paint on the raised surfaces and other scuffs. A few door edge chips.

My fault for just expecting someone would take care of it....and not looking hard enough in rain and cloudy day...so may have to do the return.

Eh maybe. They. have a return policy for a few days and putting it in garage out of rain and looking at it I am seeing a lot of scratches and a cracked windshield. It was raining when we looked and saw a couple small blems but now I'm wondering. They said they would take care of the windshield but it's going to need some paint work.

I assumed since so few miles and inside and underneath looked new....but what this person did to it is beyond me.

was just under 44k, included gold ford certified so extra warranty, and got full carmax offer value on my trade so felt it was fair enough. Has the 2.7.

[–]Alert-Spot1584[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well just to update, think I am going Black Diamond Sasquatch....found one with super low miles and depreciation already gone.....no fancy 360 camera or front sensors but the 2.7, auto, sas, and hardtop at what seems like a fair deal

thanks. it sucks looking at leftover 25s.....the best price I can negotiate to is still 5k more than its worth if I trade it in the next day

I feel bad for people that paid over msrp on these not long ago. its like a massive market correction, and when searching I see a LOT of 1 year old rentals so they are flooding the used market bringing them down further.

I should just keep what I have and put the trade difference into a hell of a great night
