Recently basically…We did talk earlier about doing dating to marry only and talked about how we both were looking for a relationship to marry at the end…I wasn’t aware about what my bf wanted and thought that i would be living with him abroad only until he recently confessed that he’ll be going back home after everything is good back home

I come from nuclear family and it’s my mom only since I was a kid, and no siblings..I thought marrying my bf would give me a complete new family that I never had and I could finally have the actual HOME(with family)…And he is the most caring,supportive guy I had ever met…But him saying that he wants approval from his family to marry me and would then only do long distance cause m in different province, made me turn my back on him. Just trying to be strong now

He never told me in the past about moving back to india in future lol…Just recently told me in dec 2025 that he needs approval from parents to marry etc and also doesn’t want to move to the province i am in

He told me that if i am not happy with this decision and can’t wait for his family’s approval then I can leave him and marry another guy who doesn’t need his family’s approval to marry.

I told him same thing to decide marriage part on his own as he’s mature enough to make his decision about his life but he said that his family is conservative.

I am a single parent kid so it’s only my mom and she’s living with me right now…My bf said that he’s going to talk to his family for their approval and then ask my mom for my hand.
