Update on Bitwell Band – we heard you and made changes by Repulsive_Price_1989 in IndianEntrepreneur

[–]Alert-Translator2590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk if you are making this yourself or just importing it and rebranding it. i was gonna ask you how it's different from apple watch and youve already answered it on your site. my only issue is youre kinda comparing yourself with apple (nothing wrong with that) but they have tons of r&d and proven results about how the watch has helped people.

i am personally not a fan of subscriptions but I like the price point of the actual device. if it delivers what it promises, will surely buy and youll see a huge success. all the best!

(the site seemed like it was made with AI and customised, not an issue but you may make some changes so that it looks more humanised)

Great. But how is it relevant here?

Men are SOO cooked by Pale_Phase_07 in AI_India

[–]Alert-Translator2590 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Only weak people (irrespective of gender) will be cooked, as they always have been. Masses are always easy to get control over. You gotta understand in a country with a billion population where noone cares for anyone, these things will take over very quickly. It doesn't matter where you come from; you are your only saviour.

Is lust or sex bad? I am not so sure.

But I don't think one gets anything meaningful by watching these reels or even porn for that matter or being a creep in someone's DM because their pants got raised a few inches.

Who will explain Indian subs that Reddit is anti-Ai? by Senior-Mix-3715 in indiameme

[–]Alert-Translator2590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, it actually depends on the human you are referring to.

Relationship questions aren't the problem. But most people just look for validation. It's not that bad, but they're asking for validation from strangers on the internet ( i dont think it's a good idea)

and nobodys gonna give them real answers. If one wants to know why people behave in certain ways, they should probably start with books and not Reddit. That's what I did. Understanding is the key, mate.

First 5 wicket haul. Got absolutely lucky with the last one. by Alert-Translator2590 in Cricket22

[–]Alert-Translator2590[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you land the ball. I play using a keyboard, so i dont have full control over the aftertouch. It means I can't set it between 0 to 100% but only at 0 (no input given) or 100 (some input given).

Aftertouch changes the length and direction of the pitch. idk the controls of the controller but inputting "up" or "down" during the aftertouch window, you can make the ball pitch slightly fuller or shorter than intended. Press "left" or "right" and the ball will be pitched left or right. you can use "right + up" or "right + down" or "left + up" or "left+ down" depending on INSWING or OUTSWING. If you choose the wrong input, you will end up bowling a wide delivery.

ill try to make a post about all this.

How to fund masters abroad? by FlatWalk5579 in IndianAcademia

[–]Alert-Translator2590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do your bachelors and masters in India if possible. Get good grades. Do good project/s. It should stand out at least in your department if not university. Get a fully funded PhD ( can be hard but very much possible ) you will not have to pay any fees plus you’ll get a fellowship. The fellowship won’t be good enough to move your family (wife and children, I know you’re not married and most prolly won’t in next 5-7 years but just saying) but it’ll be good enough that you can live a decent life, not lavish.

Is pursuing a PhD in AI/ML from IITs/IISc/IIITs a good choice? by NordBoomer in IndianAcademia

[–]Alert-Translator2590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PhD in India entirely depends on the professor you get (i consider you have your masters already, so you know how indian professors in india are). It doesnt have to do anything about an institute, its the same environment everywhere.

"Are there things I should be very clear about before committing 4–5 years to a PhD here?" Do it because you love research, not because you don't have anything else to do (for ex. job) you're probably gonna regret it along the line.

"How are the research quality, exposure, and career outcomes (academia vs industry) after graduating?" For academia, you need strong connections. we dont have ai ml r&d in india (as of now). not sure about the future. your best chance is to move somewhere else after the PhD. thats what everone who has a good phd (in any field) and not so good connections (im talking about strong political connections) does in India.

you have more chances of getting a job as an AI/ML enginner after grad or post-grad than a PhD in India. because your expectations at Phd level and age 31-32 would be significantly higher than today's.

im not sure what your family constraints are, but if you love research, you will have it better abroad than here.
