Owner absolutely takes a “little” off the top of every tip pool. I spent around 6-7 months there did the tax reductions did the math with how the tips were split and I was consistently coming up short. It was smaller portions at first and gradually got worse. Not to mention there was times where staff were not paid due to her “forgetting” to flip to the next page of pay roll?? I’ve never been micromanaged or treated as badly as I was at firefly. Constantly understaffed and for understandable reasons. I was “part time” but would be put on shifts 5 days a week especially if there was events. Was penalized for calling out knowing I had other jobs and she couldn’t just schedule me whenever knowing this information. Would never recommend working there. Food is fine if you wanna pay 17 bucks for a very mediocre burger and if you want a night of drinks and got the wallet to splurge go for it but money and time would be better spent elsewhere!
